Meet the team.

The Mahoning Valley Veterinary Centre team is a group of highly trained and experienced animal health professionals who genuinely love working with pets. Our staff provides every patient with the highest quality of medical care.

Dr. Aaron Tangeman

Dr. Tangeman focuses on small animal general medicine, including canine and feline internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery.

Background & Education

From the time he was eleven, Aaron Tangeman knew becoming a veterinarian was his calling, and he worked diligently to make sure he reached his goal.

Everyone who knows Dr. Tangeman knows he’s a fervent fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, cheering for his alma mater in the stands whenever possible. He graduated from the Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998, with an undergraduate degree from there, as well. After graduation, he headed to Perry, NY, where he began his career at Perry Veterinary Clinic. He came back to Ohio and practiced first at Lisbon Veterinary Clinic and then at Austintown Veterinary Clinic from 2004 until opening his own clinic.
